I am deeply sorry for your family’s loss of John. We’re never really prepared to lose someone so dear to us and when faced with that loss the pain and grief we experience can at times be unbearable. I have found great strength and hope in prayer. Psalm 55:22 says that if we throw our burden on Jehovah (God’s name) He will sustain us. So it is my hope that by means of prayer and the love and support of family and close friends, you are able to find a measure of peace during the difficult days ahead.
