Maynard Moen

My condolences to all of the Moen family. I remember when Maynard made the new cupboards for our kitchen on the farm when I was a child. He would come over to our house and we would watch home movies that he or my dad, Vernus Peterson, had taken. He and my dad often went boating together. Carol Peterson Pedretti

Sending condolences to the family. Maynard was a good man and neighbor. As a young boy living down in the valley just below Maynard it could sometimes feel a little isolated but it was always reassuring to see Maynard's house and workshop up on the hill and know there were really others close by. Maynard contributed so much to the community and the church in his quiet, unassuming way. He was such a skilled carpenter. Not only did he make the new cross at Adams after the fire, I remember the beautiful wood pulpit and baptismal font he made when the church was remodeled in the 60's. 'Well done, good and faithful servant.' RIP Maynard.
