Janice Maxine Miller, 77, of Naples, FL, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019 after a long illness. She was born July 16, 1942 in Darlington, WI, the daughter of Howard L. and Maxine A. (née Taylor) Goodrich.Jan was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, and the University of Florida. She was a physical therapist for 30 years, practicing in Akron, Ohio and Miami, Florida.A graveside service will be held Monday, September 23, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. at Union Grove Cemetery in Darlington with Rev. Nick J. McElrath officiating. Jan had a passion for women's issues. I remember Janice well. She would stop into the Lafayette County Social Service office to see her mom when I was working with Maxine. She was beautiful inside and out. Another fond memory is when I was about 8 stopping at her treat stand hut kitty corner from the swimming pool for a frozen candy bar. Rest in Peace and the loving arms of our Savior, Janice. I smile when I think of you seeing your mom and dad again. You were their pride and joy always 💟

I am very sorry to learn of Jan's passing; I wish that I had known of her illness. Jan was a lovely person and an active member of the AAUW Greater Naples Branch, where she volunteered with the Membership Committee. We will miss her. Please accept our sympathy for your loss.
