Jeremy D. "Spike" Payne, age 44 of Rewey, WI passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 28, 2019 in Belmont, WI He was born August 26, 1975 in Lancaster, WI the son of Dean Payne and Kay (Klais) Bonjour. Jeremy grew up in the Argyle, WI area where he graduated from high school in 1994 and worked for Argyle Industries. He worked as a foreman for Burnham Lumber Company for nearly twenty years. Jeremy is survived by his mother: Kay (Robert) Bonjour of Lamont, WI and his father: Dean Payne of TX; his girlfriend: Laura Reiter of Rewey, WI; his children: Kaitlyn Coulthard of Madison, WI, Tristan and Taya Payne of Cape Coral, FL and Skyler Reiter of Rewey; his step-children: Xavier and Alex Phillips of Cape Coral his brothers: Marcus (Rita) Payne of TX, Jacob (Kelsey Murphy) Payne of WI, Mathias Payne of TX, Chad Chapman of WI; and his sisters: Brandy (Rodney Hendrickson) Armendarez of WI, Heather (Ernie) Messerli of IL, Monica Goebel of WI, Jodi (Josh) Wohlert of WI, Samantha (Joe Angel) DeLeon of TX, Nuves Payne of TX, Amanecer Payne of TX, Tina (Randy) Swingen of WI, Patty (Dale) Emberson of WI, and Deann Chapman of WI; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by three sisters: Twin sisters: Lindsey and Gabriele Chapman, and Cielo Payne. Jeremy was an avid bowler and proudly bowled for Tower Junction in Montfort, WI. He was a true outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, camping, canoeing and bonfire parties with his friends and neighbors. Jeremy will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends. A Celebration of Jeremy's Life will be held Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Rewey Firehouse (218 West Street, Rewey 53580). The Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle is serving the family. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ericksonfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Jeremy's name.

To my oldest brother I will remember u with a smile, always telling silly jokes and having a good time. We shared only a few memories together only cause we were so far apart. I love u and will miss you greatly. Will cherish last summer when we went to the river glad my husband and son got to meet you. So sorry to hear you are gone from all of us. You were a good classmate to me in our very small class of 1994. Now there are only 17 of us remaining. I am glad that we were classmates, & enjoyed you telling jokes & always seeming to be the "class clown". You made alot of us laugh, & you were a joy to be around. Wish we could have kept in contact through the years. You will be sorely missed. Hope you are flying high with the other angels. Take care Jeremy. Rest In Peace
