Joe and Jeanne were our brother and sister in Christ and we love them dearly. When Joe and Rich went out west hunting Jeanne and I and, of course, Joshua, enjoyed sleepovers and spending time together. We rejoice with them as they are spending eternity in the presence of our Saviour. Our hearts go out to you and your family Joshua and we are praying for you in the days ahead. RICH and KAREN

Joe was the strongest person I’ve ever known. No matter the hurdles life threw his way, he patiently handled them with physical, mental, emotional and spiritual strength. Actually, it was his strong faith in the Lord and in the Word of God that overflowed to every area of his life. He never once complained. He just did what was required of him and he did it with a kind heart. Joe loved and cared for Jeanne, his wife, with the greatest attention to detail. He was a wonderful and attentive father to his son, Josh as well as to Josh’s wife, Andrea, and their three children, Joe’s grandchildren. He was very connected and present in the lives of his brother, Don, and sister, Susie. Joe will be so missed by everyone that knew him, and especially by his precious companion dog, Agape. We will all reunite in Heaven.

My heart felt condolences to you Josh and family. Your father was a long time family friend of my parents. Your father is probably one of the the main reasons I was so determined to study and work in politics. I will always cherish our talks, our work, and the kindness that your mom and dad always offered me and my family. Your dad changed the world Josh, in so many ways. I have a feeling that somewhere in heaven there is a lovely couple dancing to a beautiful waltz. Much love, Theresa Bregenzer Elliott

I have never met Joseph this side of eternity, but I was encouraged that out of 22 other obituaries today, his was the only that but only mentioned our Lord but showed that he lived a life of God's love, serving others and serving his Lord. To his family and friends, I'm sorry for your loss, but if you belong to Jesus then do not weep as those who have no hope, for he is home and we will see him again. Sincerely, A random servant of Christ.
