Jack E. Burke, age 55 of Mineral Point, WI formerly of Darlington, WI passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, WI. He was born December 28, 1963 at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County in Darlington the son of Richard Burke and Barbara Homb. Jack grew up in Darlington and attended Darlington High School. He lived at home until 1986 when he moved to a group home in Mineral Point where he has resided since.Jack is survived by his father: Richard (Carol) Burke of Darlington; his mother: Barbara (Ronald) Komprood of Darlington; his brothers and sister: Jerry Burke of Holmen, WI, David (Linda) Burke of rural Darlington, Lyle Burke of Darlington, and Debra (Josh) Notter of Darlington; and many aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.Jack cherished the time he spent with his family creating memories they will all remember forever. He was an adventurous young man who could be found around the farm riding his favorite cow, Jenny or driving various farm machinery. Jack especially loved to go ice skating and swimming when he could. Jack will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

Jack was a very special friend who I have been blessed to know at Hodan Community Services for over 35 years. His smile and giggle never failed to make me smile too. Jack will remain in my heart and memories. May God's peace be with Jack's family as I pray for you today.
