Scott Springer

Scott A. Springer, age 47 of Kewaskum, WI formerly of Darlington, WI passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Beechwood Facility in Kewaskum. He was born May 2, 1972 in Dixon, IL the son of Gary Springer and Mary Doyle. Scott grew up in Dixon where he attended Dixon High School and continued to live until 2012 when he and his family began traveling around the country settling in Wisconsin in 2015. He was united in marriage to Debra Batchelor on March 16, 2016 in North Carolina. Scott is survived by his wife Debra of Hubert, NC; his father: Gary (Denise) Springer of Wiota, WI; his mother: Mary Doyle of Roscoe, IL; his three children: Shawna (Ricardo) Hurtado of Brighton Park, IL, Jason Gardener of Southern IL, and Kaylene Schroeder of Arlington, IL; three grandsons: Favian, Damian, and Sebastian, and baby Schroeder on the way; one brother: Cody Springer of Sterling, IL; five sisters: Amy Springer of Dixon, Dawn Scoles of Sterling; Nicole (Tony) Hull of Gratiot, WI, Kayla Heller of Sterling, and Jenna McGuire of Dixon; and one step-brother: Nicholas Kulas of Pearl City, IL. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Tony Smith and Daniel Springer; and both his maternal and paternal grandparents. Scott loved listening to music, specifically 80's rock. He cherished the time he spent with his family creating memories they will all cherish forever. Scott enjoyed playing with his dogs, fishing, and drinking a cold beer with his family and friends as they shared stories and spent time together. A private family celebration of life will be held for Scott at a later date. The Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington is serving the family.
