Sharon M. (Blotz) Rock, age 77 of Darlington, WI passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville, WI. She was born October 26, 1942 in Dodgeville the daughter of Paul and Genevieve (Laufenberg) Blotz. Sharon grew up in Dodgeville where she graduated from Dodgeville High School and later went on to graduate from Madison Business College and later MATC where she graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Richard Rock on October 11, 1969 in Mineral Point, WI. Sharon is survived by her husband Richard at home; one son: Randal (Jessica) Rock of Brookfield, WI; four grandchildren: Josef Rock, Nikolas Rock, Matthew Rock, and Helena Rock; three brothers: John (Charlene) Blotz, Michael Blotz, and Timothy (Laura Jean) Blotz; two sisters: Marilyn McAlpine and Colleen Watters; two sister-in-laws; Mary Blotz and Joyce (Wallace) Hoeper; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three infant children; one brother: James Blotz; one sister: Patricia Blotz; and three brothers-in-law: Leo McAlpine, Douglas Watters, and Francis Rock. Sharon was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mineral Point, WI and its Altar Society as well as The Catholic Daughters for many years. She enjoyed her card club, drawing, and other crafts. She cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren creating memories they will all remember forever. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 14, 2020 at 11:30 A.M. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church (104 E. Harriet St., Darlington) with Rev. Joji Reddy and Rev. David Flanagan of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Cuba City, WI con-celebrating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Mineral Point. A visitation will be held Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church and on Friday from 10:30 until 11:15 A.M. at the church. A Rosary will be held Thursday, February 13, 2020 prior to the visitation at 3:30 P.M. The Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington is serving the family. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ericksonfuneralhome.com. For those who prefer, a memorial fund has been established in Sharon's name. The family would like to thank the Upland Hills Health, Hospice, Nursing Home and Hospital Staff for their excellent care of Sharon in her time of need.

Dear Rich and Randy, Sharon was a good nurse, I worked for her at the hospital years go. Sharon always had a smile for her patients and friends. A sincere Christian woman.

Dear Rich, Please accept our very sincere condolences on the passing of Sharon. Although we didn't know Sharon well, she was always very nice to us when we met at Sunday church or at a church function. We will miss seeing you and Sharon together. May the Good Lord grant you comfort.

My sincere sympathy to you and your son. Although I only knew Sharon from seeing you both at church, I know she was lovely lady who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. I was out of town at the time of Sharon's visitation and funeral, so I was unable to express my condolence in person. I attempted to send a sympathy card, but I could not find your ,ailing address.
