All of us Elmer "kids" extend our deepest sympathy to all of you Schulte "kids" and your families. We have such strong memories of growing up with all of you. I think we always felt we were kindred spirits because you were physically working as hard every day as we were, just trying to survive... and survive and thrive we all did (though both our families have lost dear ones along the way). John was a character in deed, always quick to tease and then would give that sly look like "who me???" I remember once he was talking to my mom and saying how cranky your mom was being, & just that quick my sweet mother said, "John, if I was married to you I be cranky too". (And then of course he acted shocked & wounded that mom would say such a thing... but then they both had a good laugh because he knew she was being truthful😄). I'm very sorry we won't be able to be there for your dad's visitation or funeral, but please know all of us Elmers are with you in spirit, you are in our thoughts and prayers as you mourn the passing of your dad. Always, Donna

I'm sorry I heard that John Schulte had passed away . He enjoyed talking and being with my Father and I. He always liked to joke around and enjoyed talking with most everyone. My father would sometimes loan him farm machinery . I wrote this , Douglas the son of Arthur Eames family.
