Bryan Hopkins

Bryan F. Hopkins, age 61 of Gratiot, WI passed away after fighting a short battle with cancer on August 11, 2020. He was born in Chicago, IL to Lloyd and Coralie (Reemer) Hopkins. Bryan grew up in Carpentersville, IL and went to Barrington High School. He later went on to get his GED and got a Bachelors Degree in Child Psychology. Bryan was a life member of the Moose Lodge. He loved nature, music, and playing his guitar, along with fishing and woodworking. He married the love of his life, Barb Bailey on April 23, 1993 in Elgin, IL. Bryan and Barb were also the best of friends and enjoyed adventures as often as they could. He had a soft spot for their puppy Santana. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends. Bryan is survived by his wife Barb; daughters: Brenda Gerstad, Jennifer Fiser, and Amber Soto; his grandchildren: Jevon, Keira, Dakota, Hunter, Robert, and Aleita; his nieces: Lynda and Christine; his nephews: Chet, Aaron, and Steve; his great-nieces: Olivia, Aubrey, and Ericka, his great-nephews: Andrew and Colton; his brothers: Lloyd, Grant, and Darrel; and a sister: Mary. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister: Coralie. A Celebration of Bryan's Life will be held at a later date. The Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington is serving the family.
