Wendy Hendrickson-Rutherford

Wendy Jo Hendrickson-Rutherford, age 52 of Marshall, WI passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 9, 2020 in Dane County, Wisconsin. She was born July 1, 1968 in Darlington, WI the daughter of Richard and Marilyn (Burrington) Hendrickson. Wendy grew up in Darlington until later moving to Madison and later to Marshall where she has lived for the last decade. Wendy is survived by her children: Sarah (Kristopher) Morris and Tabitha Rutherford both of Watertown, WI, Brandon Friis of Marshall, Samantha Gratz of Marshall, and Gabby Eith of Stoughton, WI; five grandchildren: Jocelyn, Malachi, Kaladin, Lareena, and Emma; three brothers: Matt (Kristi) Newcomb, Rick Hendrickson, and Steven Hendrickson-Boyle; one sister: Amy Miller; a very special friend: Mark Randolph; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents; and many aunts and uncles. Wendy cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and the memories they created together. She loved to read and learn about history. Wendy had many talents, but will be known for her skills in making homemade dog treats. She collected porcelain dolls and always had her home smelling great with different scented oils. Wendy had a kind soul and was always willing to help her friends and family with anything they needed. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends. A celebration of Wendy's life will be held at a later date. The Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington is serving the family.
