Patricia Y. "Patya" "Patsy" Anderson, age 84 of Gratiot, WI passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at UW-Hospital in Madison, WI. She was born on August 17, 1936 in Darlington, WI the daughter of Milton and Vivian (Nystead) Steele. Patsy grew up in Gratiot where she graduated from Gratiot High School and lived her entire life. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Robert "Baldy" Anderson on January 21, 1956 at the Lafayette County Court House in Darlington. Patsy is survived by her children: Pamela Alexander of Belleville, WI, Bill Anderson of Gratiot, Kathy Nyffenegger of Darlington, and Lori (Tony) Guillory of Gratiot; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law: Robert Parrish of Palm Springs, CA; and two sisters-in-law: Ann Steele of Gratiot, and Virginia Anderson of Madison, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert in 2014; three brothers: Richard Steele, Gerald Steele, and William Steele in infancy; two sisters: Jeannine Steele and Kathleen Steele in infancy; a brother-in-law: Marvin Anderson; and one son-in-law: Tim Alexander. Patsy cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and the time they spent together. The memories they created will be remembered forever. In her free time, Patsy enjoyed doing puzzles, reading, playing euchre, and going to the dog track. Patsy traveled south with her husband to Whispering Oaks Estate in Florida during the winter for 14 years. A graveside service for family and friends will be held Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Gratiot M.E. Cemetery in Gratiot with Rev. Glenn Andes officiating.
