I have many Great Memories of this Great Friend including meeting Jackie Kennedy at the community center , Comparing Ginseng hunting stories, Dairy Queen Brazer Burgers

I worked with Don at DILHR, Commerce, and DSPS. He was a great guy, and a great coworker. My deepest sympathies to his family.

There are those people who are kind, sensitive, deep-thinking, and just plain interesting; they should live into their 90's. Don was one of those people. It was my privilege to have known him.

My mother would often relate to us that when we were in first grade we came home one day all excited about making a new friend. At recess, he liked to go to the corner of the playground and wrestle with us. His name was Donnie. Don was a big guy, and I am sure he got the best of us, but we were best friends for life from that moment on.
