Camella Wand

Camella R. Wand age 84 of Gratiot, WI passed away at the Monroe Clinic Hospital in Monroe, WI on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. Camella was born March 15, 1937, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Wiegel) Loeffelholz in Cuba City, WI. After school, she worked as a receptionist for the Shullsburg Veterinary Clinic. She was united to George Wand on October 13, 1956, at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Gratiot. Camella is survived by her five children: John (Deb) Wand of Browntown, WI, Dan Wand (Sherry Ann Marlowe) of Durango, CO, Gina (Bill) Bacher of Monroe, WI, David (Erica) Wand of Gratiot, WI, and Robert (Janice) Wand of Gratiot, WI; Mike (Rose Mary) Sarka of Santa Cruz, CA who was like one of her children; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers: Fabian (Shirley) Loeffelholz of rural Argyle, WI, and Adrian (Barb) Loeffelholz of Waunakee, WI; and five sisters: Modesta Winkler of Woodford, WI, Cyrilla (Donald) Wedig of Mineral Point, WI, Sally Schuetz of Darlington, WI, Lucy Ammon of Monroe, WI, and Gloria Harwick of Monroe, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband J. George Wand; three sisters: Marietta Stietz, Celine Byrne, and Marita Larson.Camella was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Gratiot. She enjoyed playing guitar, gardening, home decorating, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Camella will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all who knew her. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Gratiot (5685 Main Street, Gratiot 53541) with Rev. Peter Lee officiating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. The Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle is assisting the family.
