Jacob Riley

Jacob "Jake" Riley, age 25 of Brodhead, WI Passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022. He was born on December 29, 1996, in Darlington, WI. He was an amazing father, loving husband to-be, beloved son, loving brother, and friend to too many to list. Jake worked alongside his dad and they shared an everlasting bond that will live on forever. Together, they enjoyed hunting and found a new love for the north where they would spend their time camping, fishing, and just enjoying the great outdoors.Jake loved rebuilding and working on cars with his soon to be father-in-law Jason Wenger and the "Oldman" Terri Wenger. He could be wild, crazy, and always make you laugh no matter the situation, but his family was his pride and joy. Jake cherished his family and every opportunity that he was able to spend with his children and fiancée. He enjoyed showing and teaching them about things that he and his dad would do together such as fishing and hunting. Though he was taken too soon, he left us with many happy memories that will always be cherished.Jake is survived by his children: Jameson Riley, Izac Kasten, Athena Carreras, and Fiancée Katie Wenger of Brodhead; his parents Jason and Kasa Riley of Argyle, WI; and his two siblings McKenzie Riley and Mia Riley. Jake is also survived by his siblings Jonathon Bailey, Jeremiah Bailey, Novalee Bailey, Aleathea Bailey, Xavier Bailey, Cecelia Bailey, and their mother Atoshia Bailey of Shullsburg, WI. He is also survived by his grandparents: Mark and Ruby Butson of Argyle; Connie and Ted Henderson of Monroe, WI. He was preceded in death by his unborn daughter; his brother Aden Riley; grandparent Terry "Oldman" Wenger; and his great-grandparents: Margarite and Bill Riley, Sandy and Leroy Narveson.A funeral service for Jacob "Jake" Riley will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle (801 Milwaukee St., Argyle WI, 53504) with Rev. Daniel Bohlman officiating. Burial will be held at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Argyle following the funeral service. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 8, 2020, from 10:00 AM until 12:45 PM at the Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle (801 Milwaukee St., Argyle WI, 53504).
